There was a break up of the video signal during this afternoon's of Slovenia vs Denmark match on RTÉ2 in Ireland.

An official Euro 2024 testcard appeared on the screen for a few seconds during the break in transmission.

Did the testcard appear on ITV's broadcast of the match a short time ago?

The welcome and increasingly rare (on men’s games) appearance of George Hamilton on comms for RTE for Slovenia v Denmark.

Not sure why there needs to be a full size “RTE Sport” (as opposed to just “RTE”) logo beside the already big scorebar though.

Somebody got it on Twitter:

Doesn't seem to have happened on other broadcasts. I'd say that's on RTE.

Has it? Not for me it hasn't! Still overlapping the score.

Looks like the logo is on the right when watching the games live on the iPlayer stream, but back on the left when watching the Euros programmes on catch up.

Appears to be an accidental/premature router switch to the Serbia v England match feed - almost certainly by RTE.

“LSF C” is the “Live Stadium Feed” of the third match of each day (A being first, and B being second).

So does anyone know, is the BBC’s rooftop studio above their indoor studio in real life, or not?

Pretty sure - certainly looks like it from this video when they arrived:

The amount of BBC notifications for this match are a little excessive. A BBC Sport notifciation at kick-off, at half-time, at 15 minutes to go and then at full time. Plus a BBC News notification ahead of kick-off and another at full time, plus a BBC e-mail in the half hour before kick-off.

Really too many.

So the floor is AR then? I think given the relative simplicity of the backdrop they need a more interesting desk really to give the studio a bit of life.

They've now 30 minutes to fill over analysing a pretty dull opener for England.
