So there will be branded programmes from 3 April? I'm so confused now  Huh
Maybe it'll just be "BBC News with (insert presenter name)".

I think everyone is confused today, Yalda included. She posted a pic of herself on her insta about farewell and it wasn't what she was wearing today. She revealed what she was wearing in a previous post about a book.  Big Grin

^ Actually that's one of my screencaps I tweeted yesterday and tagged her.  Big Grin

It's funny how everyone is saying different things. There was someone from the newsroom tweeting about new look shows from next week , it seems like no one is sure what exactly is happening on Monday and then a month later.

Anyway, it was nice to have Lucy, Yalda and Matthew do their final branded shows today.

I suppose generic 'BBC News' technically is a new look for the branded shows.

Tbh I don't think it's a shame that those particular brands are going. IMO the title/music packages for each are good, but not great. Hopefully any new branded shows will look much better.

This is great news for us fans of Martine.

However it's a little concerning that a designer is working on something so important at less than a month to go!

One wonders what the late and great Mr. Lambie-Nairn would make of this mess. It's been a complete shambles for years!

Do we know that the new look will definitely be introduced in April? All Martine said (very pleasantly surprised she's staying BTW) was that a designer is working on it. I have to wonder whether perhaps it might be held back until studio E is eventually refurbished.

New channel launches in April, temporary mode from Monday.

With the recent track history of brand, logo, font rollout of the BBC - it really is anyone's guess what'll happen come April. Shame it won't be April 1st or at least they'd have an excuse.

I think that was the guess as there would be a soft launch when the channels become one.
