World viewers must be rolling their eyes now.

UPD. At 11:39 UKT Shaun Ley said goodbye to World viewers as they opted out, again no crash outs.

Could they not have crashed WBR on the NC and let WBR continue on World or is that beyond the realms of the possible these days?

It'll be a shame to lose Laura Trevelyan, leaving just Jane O'Brien as one of the old trio of female anchors in DC, who will be joined by the new faces

(Yes Katty Kay is back at the BBC but she's now a special correspondent and only presents WNA during US elections)

The first of many 'final' shifts we'll be seeing in the next couple of weeks I guess. How sad.

Meanwhile, new faces are filming new countdown footage!

Laura Trevelyan is in a flash studio in New York today. World News America used generic BBC (World) News music and graphics during its headlines - but its own ones during its titles. Also no short starting intro was shown after the countdown, just straight cut to Laura - until the titles with proper music started one could think they might have ditched that branding as well.

Those Debate Night titles and theme music is absolutely fantastic I love how the theme tune ends there.
