Quite amusing that UK has already opted-out of the broadcast, but they still play the adverts intended for UK audience. Is it because those are programmed on the broadcast playlist?
At the same time World was handled by Pres at Red Bee.
Sames as the overnight simulcast, normally Studio C plays some UK promos and programmes when World shows other stuff.

I've seen a style guide for certain news organisation specify 'Chancellor of The Exchequer' as being a term to avoid. It is confusing for non-British viewers, especially when the leader of Germany is known as the Chancellor.

There's a few issues with terminology when it comes to international broadcasting, the same style guide also specified using 'Catholic Pope' instead of 'The Pope' because there are other religions with popes.

It feels like BBC News is choosing their presenter of the shift either through darts or roulette, because its essentially at random now.

Matthew Amroliwala during late morning, Annita on the 1pm hour at Studio C, and Martine right now at Studio E.

It's Amroliwala's first appearance since he last presented Global. Lucy Hockings has made one appearance and Yalda none. Incidentally the 9am presenter has done the 1pm since this month of obscurity commenced so that's not unusual.

Chris Cook said they are piloting and rehearsing so there'll be a lack of routine for the next few weeks.

To be fair, this has been the case on the BBC News channel (and to a lesser extent on network news) for several years now.

Of the "big five" presenters on the new channel, for now it is only Christian Fraser who makes regular shifts in the interim period despite the trials. Next to him in appearance frequency is Maryam Moshiri who was seen during last week for several days.

Maryam was asked about her slot and this is her response. Somehow strange cause we expected main 5 to have their fixed slots during the day. This sounds as if she's still a substitute presenter.

I reckon that if Maryam isn't getting a slot of her own then Sally Bundock will likely stay in her early morning slot in some capacity (along with Victoria Valentine)

Or is this Al Jazeera style where the presenters don’t have a fixed slot?
