The no headline thing is going to be very weird

RE: BBC News Channel/BBC World News Merger - ALV - 02-04-2023

I haven't seen any mention here but the schedule on weekends have been released:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/schedules/p00fzl6g/2023/04/08
https://www.bbc.co.uk/schedules/p00fzl9j/2023/04/08

- The majority of the schedule on the UK feed and the World feed is identical, including pre-records.

- The only UK opt on weekends is Breakfast from 0600-1000 and Sportsday at 1830-1900 and 1930-2000.

- On Sunday, the UK feed opts out of Breakfast at 0830 for a pre-record. Surprisingly, the UK feed no longer simulcast Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg at 0900.

Next Sunday is Easter Sunday, so possibly a week off for Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg?

That's because next Sunday is Easter Sunday. So there's no 'Sunday with Laura K' program next week.

If it’s true.

I don't think anyone has said *no* headlines?

Someone did.

@bbctvtechop, you yourself said it, although at the time it was assumed it was about the interim period. When it did not come to be in the interim month, a natural assumption followed that this related to a new channel, not to an interim.

I'm not entirely sure what is gained by Breakfast not running through to 0900 on Easter Sunday. Perhaps this often happens - unless this is to become a more permanent event except when BBC One doesn't have Match of the Day showing on Sunday mornings.

It’s so frustrating not knowing whether we’re gonna see Ben Brown, Annita McVeigh and Martine Croxall on screen this week, or if ever again!
