While there is obviously sad reasoning for them, I don't think I've seen anybody dispute the notion that the Derbyshire episodes have shown that the BBC made the wrong call on Marr's replacement.

I could have sworn last week Victoria said they’d be live this week from Aberdeen for the SNP conference. Presumably they decided to stay in London due to programme having a greater focus on the situation in Israel/Gaza.
