Regardless of the story, noone can deny he was a brilliant broadcaster and if this is it for him it is a crying shame.

It is a real shame there’s no doubt his broadcast skills were of a extremely high quality.

A article that tells us nothing we don't all ready know. A reminder really that nobody asked for.

Apart from the fact that no one expects Huw back i agree-nothing new at all and they won't be until we hear his side of things (if we ever do).

Agreed, I think the Huw question can be kicked into the long grass until we hear his side of the story and the BBC's investigation finishes.

I suspect they'll likely carve up Huw's roles beyond the News at 10 (State opening of Parliament, elections, festival of remembrance) between the likes of Sophie and Clive, Jo Coburn and Laura K in the short-term

Is there another Laura on the BBC (news) presenting roster besides Ms Kuenssberg?

By putting the first letter of her surname makes me wonder if there's another Laura around, therefore avoiding confusion.

Laura Miller on Reporting Scotland the next highest profile I can think of, but I'm assuming they were referring/referencing/taking inspiration from Laura Kuenssberg's Twitter/X handle with is @BBCLauraK.
