RE: This Morning - lepeterrr - 26-11-2022

This always confuses me, for all they know they're could have been a fire, but they sit there going 'oh it's alright', maybe the 2nd time fair enough since they might've known there was a fault or something but it still confuses me.

RE: This Morning - XIII - 27-11-2022

I assume there's a two stage procedure for fire evacuation like they are in many places.

Doesn't that defeat the point of an alarm?

RE: This Morning - JAS84 - 27-11-2022

I've been to places where they warn you if a fire alarm test is due. You ignore it only if it's that test. If it goes off at the wrong time, or more than once - you're supposed to evacuate (never actually had to though as the alarm hasn't gone off unexpectedly). If no test is due, you always treat it as real.

Would they really test a fire alarm whilst a show is live on air? Surely you'd do it on a Saturday afternoon or something when there's no live programming, or time it so it occurs during a VT?

RE: This Morning - Blubatt - 28-11-2022

I know why they do it, but doesn't it just seem lazy to have these shows on Christmas Day. Most people I know won't have the TV on. It just seems lazy. Bring back the movies and the cartoons, maybe even a star studded special/concert

RE: This Morning - JAS84 - 28-11-2022

They probably figure that if you want to put cartoons on, you'd put CITV on, and therefore they don't need to be on ITV1.

RE: This Morning - eyeTV - 28-11-2022

Surely its the opposite of lazy.

Movies and cartoons is lazy and is available on multiple other channels and streaming services, even ITV's own.

This is ITV1 playing to it's own strengths and offering an alternative to old films & repeats.

Why would they bother with a star studded special if nobody has the tv on?
