QVC is down as is Ideal World, yes

In Australia it’s actually Channel 9 that’s relaying BBC News. Channel 7 is showing ITV News. ABC switched from Rage (pop videos) to a newsflash, and its breakfast show came on air at 4am (7pm UK time). Channel 10 was showing an obituary earlier but seems to have switched to home shopping right now.

So they didn't learn from Philip then. Angry

Closedown slate on BBC Three and CBBC looks very chilling to me... also notice the old logo:

Closedown slate on BBC Four:

I think all other BBC UK channels are directly simulcasting the NC output, with the ticker. I like how they have different website addresses for the NC and WN's ticker:

Sky News ticker briefly gone blank just now

They're simulcasting on every other channel on their multiplex, the compression thingy that they use is probably at it's limit. They can't really show any of the programming on Three at all anyway

Does anyone know how QVC or Ideal World shut down? It's normal for shopping channels to close after a royal death but I don't think I've ever actually seen them transition.
Most of the shopping channels have live streams on YouTube that can be rewound up to 12 hours so you have about another 11 hours to have a look at how they have handled it.

That's the last thing the nation needs right now!
