I don’t understand the criticism they’re getting tonight on Twitter. I personally believe Huw Edwards and Nicholas Witchell are doing a great job.

Saw that - very inappropriate. I think somebody brought it to their attention though because they moved pretty sharpish!
So, in the future, when clips of the announcement are shown, it will have those two twits in it!

Nope showing programming now. Ad breaks on all UKTV channels are replaced by the UKTV animation just like Prince Philip

So they didn't learn from Philip then. Angry

Learn what? This is what the plan is, you wouldn't expect the BBC to do anything else but  suspend normal programmes. BBC3 and 4 can't simulcast the other channels as there's no bandwidth

RE: Queen Elizabeth Dies - ALV - 08-09-2022

It's a bit puzzling... the NC has BSL for the majority of the afternoon reporting the Queen's health... And now in the obit programme there is no BSL...

Wow! You'd probably do well to conduct some research before posting such a silly remark, and what's with the angry face. if you don't like it - throw in a DVD.

Replaced by what? 3-4 minutes of a screen?

By the UKTV animation for a few minutes then back to programming
