If anybody, like me, is waiting for yesterday’s ratings…

Poor CBS, not a single mention or screen grab in sight.

It will be very intriguing to see how the ratings breakdown over the channels that aired the funeral, and also how many chose not to watch it and opted to watch something else.

This and the commercial one are absolutely superb!  Thank you for sharing those, gives a super perspective of how the announcement unfolded in real-time.

Thanks for that. I hadn't realised CBBC got to Newsround so quickly. I know they had a heads-up because of her health but that's very impressive work - BBC One hadn't even reached the national anthem.

Yes that's the first I've seen of the Newsround coverage. We can quibble about the appropriateness of the Shaun the Sheep trail, but nicely done

Newsround came in c. 6.35pm-ish. As you've seen from the clip above, there was a bit of a playout blip, with the Shaun the Sheep trail being left in the schedule, otherwise Newsround would've been on air a little quicker.

The con link felt pre-recorded. Almost sure exactly the same in-vision clip was used again.
