Gray's Arizona's Family Sports is now officially statewide, after the group launched KAZF in Tucson and KAZS in Yuma.

Meanwhile, they're starting a similar model in Georgia: Peachtree Sports Network will start in October in a subchannel on WPCH.

The game, announced by Drew Carter (play-by-play), Booger McFarland (analyst) and 12-year old Pepper Persley (reporter), will stream on Disney+ in 95 markets (including the UK and Latin America), plus on ESPN+ and Star+ (where the normal telecast will stream exclusively, in the U.S. and Latin America respectively). Meanwhile, the rebooted XFL is to be merged with USFL, who is also a reboot since 2022. ABC/ESPN currently airs the former, whereas Fox airs both leagues and has a minor part in the latter.

It looks like Bally Sports Arizona will be no more: after a bankruptcy court broke the deal with the Arizona Coyotes (the NHL team), Scripps Sports has agreed to carry the rest of the contract with them. Matches will air on the second subchannels of KNXV/Phoenix and KGUN/Tucson, both ABC affiliates (in squished SD).

I wonder if the South American channels will get a rebrand to match?

The graphics package they use looks really decent; the openers and bumpers look really impressive. It was designed by the Phoenix branch of motion design studio Viztek, according to NewscastStudio; they also brought back the final theme used by KUTP when it offered Suns coverage, which dated back to the UPN days:

They botched it initially with the score bug, with Arial instead of Aktiv Grotesk:

SCHN is using a rebadged version of AT&T Sportsnet's existing graphics, dropping the company's proprietary typeface (Aleck) for Flama (also used by AT&TSN's predecessor Root Sports).

The Coyotes' first match had to be broadcast on both stations' CW sisters (KASW 61/Phoenix, KWBA 58/Tucson) after strong reactions by viewers due to the match being relegated to SD-only subchannels (both in turn simulcast the match too, making it a four-way broadcast). It looks like the matches are not being fully produced by Scripps, unlike what they do with Golden Knights matches, but they have some input from the teams at MLB Advanced Media (which also operate NHL Network); the graphics are very similar to the NHLN graphics too.

As for Bally Sports Arizona, the network ceased operations on October 20th.

The same case for AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, which ceased operations the day after, but ended normal programming and fired all of its staff on October 6th, the moment it switched to the temporary SportsNet Rocky Mountain branding:

Either someone was distracted by Taylor Swift's new album (highly doubtful) or there might be poor coding for the on-screen graphics, wonder what cloud service Fox use for their output?

RE: American Sports Presentation - Medianext.MX - 30-10-2023

NFL uses Amazon/AWS for their stats; all NFL broadcasters (CBS, NBC, Fox, ESPN, Amazon...) use the same cloud service (Next Gen Stats), and broadcasters run this data (graphics, telestrators...) on Microsoft Surface and Windows servers and devices (also a marketing partnership).
