I was about to post that they've lapsed back to using Helvetica for the place names there. But on closer inspection, that's Arial. How does something like that happen?

Might be something as simple as the font not being loaded correctly onto the relevant machine, and the software default is Arial.

Apologies is if this isn't the right thread, but I am watching The Nine on BBC Scotland. The AR NATO logo on the floor was a nice touch to introduce the package from Katya Adler, and the name straps do look a lot neater than the current BBC News [Channel] package.

It's just a shame that they captioned Jens Stoltenberg without a capital "S", something I'm not sure (even it its cut-back state) the UK-wide BBC News has ever managed.

It's also worth noting that the Hillwalking forecast is only shown briefly on a Friday for those "heading to the hills" at the weekend. It may be that Arial was used as it's a custom template made up locally.

Just thinking, does Sportscene also use the Reporting Scotland studio or does it have a set of it's own?

They use the other studio which was recently used by The Seven on Fridays when Reporting Scotland was in The Nine set. It's also been used by Newsnight.

I've watched what is likely to be the most low budget sports show on BBC Scotland. Football Pass had Amy Irons film a PTC outside Pacific Quay, which then followed Amy and two pundits on Zoom as if we're back in the pandemic previewing this weekend's SPL and SFL matches.

I think I remember someone telling me that the 'Riverside Studio' is, or was, part of the canteen.
