Nope.. canteen is on the top floor, always was

The riverside is a converted part of the building, it wasn’t originally meant to be a studio but it wasn’t the canteen!!

The canteen is where Newsnight sometimes came from during Covid when Kirsty presented - or when Andrew Marr used to present from during the SNP annual conference

Is that where the cycling coverage has been coming from the last couple of days - although Clare has been saying they're "on the roof".

RE: BBC/STV Scotland News - Stooky Bill - 12-08-2023

Aha I'm getting it confused with that, and I think the partially outside area that Saturday Mash up use for their odd bird poo gunge game is the outside space of the canteen? (though sitting outside on the roof a few floors up next to the Clyde doesn't seem that appealing)

This week's Football Pass on BBC Scotland has tweaked a bit since last week, while the show is still using Zoom, they're not using the Zoom style three way split screen as much for full screen, but Amy Irons was using her AirPods as a mic which sounded really bad.

Surely they can book the Riverside studio to record the show instead and get the two pundits in rather than this mess?

I haven’t seen it, but wonder if just televising something that Radio Scotland already do would make more sense if the budget is so low?

Football Pass is it's on show. Not a radio show. Also capitalising on BT's Scottish Football Extra which BT ran during covid and beyond until the TNT switch. It remained a zoom call format and was still seen as popular. Made by Sunset and Vine - who have take over BBC Alba's live football production this season.

RE: BBC/STV Scotland News - thegeek - 29-08-2023

I'm not saying they're definitely using the same 3-way box template as Scottish Football Extra did, but it certainly looks very similar.

It looks very much like a successor to SFE - same producer, some of the same pundits too. This post suggests it might just be a pilot run of four episodes though.

STV and surrounding area evacuated due to security alert. Don't know if BBC affected

The Nine is live right now so the BBC has not been affected
