HGTV is sporting an annoying double DOG right now. The logo for Magnolia Network appears below it's own. Why?

I do agree that it lacks any elegance, but is it an attempt to create a UKTV-style umbrella brand for the DIY channels that WBD own?

An American cable channel called DIY Network did rebrand to Magnolia earlier this year.

Perhaps they're trying to introduce Magnolia Network as a programming block on HGTV? Or they might just be trying to denote the content which hails from there, which may make a bit less sense.

I'm guessing it was during Fixer Upper, which is the show presented by Chip and Joanna Gaines who are part owners of the Magnolia Network, along with Warner Bros. Discovery
