Just 'the Toymaker' now, as the word celestial can have racial connotations in some contexts.

Disney has no role in the production of the show - that is left to Bad Wolf to do - Disney deal is simply licensing rights to show Doctor Who internationally outside of the UK and Ireland where the BBC will air it as usual - The new Disney money helps of course, but since the Disney deal was done after the start of production of the specials, all credit in the high production values must be given to Bad Wolf and Russell T Davies wonderful team

This may be the case for the specials (although we have no idea for sure), but is certainly not correct in terms of the next series; Russell T Davies is on record as having said that Disney provided feedback on the first draft of the script for the opening episode, and that he felt the amended script was all the better from Disney’s input.

The press release confirms it will be 30 minutes in length and will air on BBC Three straight after the main show finishes on BBC One. All very similar to the original Doctor Who Confidential (though a different format with an in-vision host).

What length were the original DW Confidential episodes? I barely watched the original full length programmes, but caught plenty of the 15 minute cuts on BBC Three to air the episodes in hour blocks, which I'm sure will happen again.

DW Confidential episodes were 30 minutes for the first two series, before going up to 45 mins from 2007-11

I'm pretty sure the success of Doctor Who Confidential resulted in the creation of this

I know the BBC broadcast Heroes but it is a bit strange that they ended up making a behind-the-scenes show for an import.

The Doctor Who musical celebration that took place last night will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2 on the 15th of October.

Apparently the new theme, and the themes of the Fifteenth Dictor and Ruby premiered during the show last night, so should be released to the rest of the world in the next fortnight.

I have never been so excited for Doctor Who, really since the 50th anniversary ten years ago - this feels like the atmosphere we want from Doctor Who, which was usually present from 2005 until around 2013.

That says it was filmed for iPlayer too, so we'll be able to see them perform, not just listen to it.
