According to Mr Coburn on X (formerly Twitter), the BBC killed his father somehow. I can understand him being a bit miffed with them if that is true. He doesn't elaborate on how or who did the killing though.

I believe it's 70 years from the death of the author. If so, any copyright held by the Coburn estate expires circa 2047 or 2048.

What's going on with the Dr Who entries in BBC Genome? Looks like the series has been renamed 'Doctor Who (1963 - 1996)' and the entry replaced with one from BBC Online. The original listing has become a regional variation for the London area (not that it existed then). 

I don't know if this is an automatic thing caused by them going up on iplayer or some over enthusiastic Dr Who fan

The classic series episode listings that used to sit on the main Doctor Who programme pages: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006q2x0/episodes/guide  have been removed, and are in the process of being moved to a newly created brand for the classic series, titled 'Doctor Who (1963 - 1996)' https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0ggwr8l/episodes/guide  , no doubt in preparation for its appearance on iPlayer - and the data from /programmes feeds through into Genome.

Both of those microsites need reskinning. The modern show's page still has the Whittaker logo, not the updated version of the diamond logo, and the classic era's page has outdated generic BBC One branding - it should have the current BBC One logo and a proper Who logo. Hopefully they'll have done that by the time The Star Beast airs.

The Doctor Who microsite on the BBC website has pretty much been ditched since after S11 in favour of the official BBC Studios DW website - which was almost immediately updated with the new logo

And in the last few weeks they’ve added episode pages for the 60th specials, whilst the Fourteenth Doctor’s profile was added on DoctorWhoDay last November

The Doctor Who microsite is being updated on 1 November with lots of archive material to compliment the iPlayer back catalogue. www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho  does show the new branding.
