Maybe it's just me, but I'd say that's by no means obvious.

This morning Savannah and Hoda just said something like 'Craig's here', he did one item (an interview that the other two pitched in on too), and then they went to Al for the weather. And the three of them split the 7.30 headlines between them.

It's certainly very different from the days when the news anchor did a whole sequence of stories from a separate desk.

If you want to see the First WWJ CBS Detroit newscast they've uploaded it themselves on youtube

Along the lines of CBS, the WWTV/WWUP duo in Michigan (Heritage) unveiled a new symbol, replacing the one used since 1998:

The new news open, which looks more GMA than CBS:

It's a nice logo , it's different and simple without being bland. It's a fun market for the station brandings besides 9&10 there's 7&4 and 29&8 . It does look like Good Morning America in the graphics.

WNEP's refreshed set is on-air, and it looks very decent, similar to what they did recently to KFMB's set.

CNBC has announced its new 7pm hour to replace Shepard Smith... The new business-focused show will be named Last Call with Brian Sullivan.

WTTW took the unexpected decision to move its newsmagazine show Chicago Tonight this week. Historically broadcast at 7pm, last Monday it moved to 10pm and was shortened to a half-hour duration; the newsmagazine elements have been retained, but the shorter time means a faster and mistake-prone pace. The move is designed, according to WTTW, to give viewers an alternative to the other 10pm newscasts at the network O&Os.

It looks like the next on the list for the CBS O&O new graphics is the New York O&O. Since this week, during the local commercial block after CBS Mornings, there is a pull-out L-bar counting down to the 9am morning news, including a look at top stories to air and a day planner forecast. It features an odd new logo (the former CBS Mandate logo integrated within the new O&O branding) and many of the elements of the package.

So WCBS is now CBS2 CBS News New York? Tongue  Such a catchy name.

In cable news, right-wing news (sic) channel Newsmax was dropped by DirecTV, citing carriage disputes. The new owner of the spot is another conservative channel, The First.

Here's CNBC's new line up

Sullivan is moving from Worldwide Exchange, and Frank Holland will replace him.

Tech Check is gone, they will be making a new hour of Squawk on the Street (this seems to be an hour they change frequently)  Carl Quintanilla and Sara Eisen will be anchoring.  Eisen is moving from Closing Bell

The 'CBS News Los Angeles' brand is back on-screen during newscasts - at least on the stream.

The yellow box previously just said 'mornings' or 'Los Angeles' later in the day, with KCAL News being the only brand in use.

I've seen the CBS News Los Angeles branding used on KCBS only scheduled bulletins. The current 9-10am bulletin on KCAL only is branded as Mornings.

Watching the CBS News LA feed, it's an overlay where the local KCAL feed shows as Mornings.
