And now WCSC Charleston, where rumours of the new graphics first emerged, gets the new look:

Staying with CBS, seems like WCCO is going with the KPIX route on letterboxing their call letters, as seen in their weather promo:

Here we go again: as Newsmax was reinstated into DirecTV two weeks ago (still with some degree of reservation), now smaller rural-targeted operator Frontier Communications has dropped it, and again the overtly political rhetoric is well on-going:

Leland Vittert on NewsNation did his final show from Chicago as he's moving to D.C and will be doing two shows We'll be seeing the new DC studio soon too. https://twitter.com/NewsNation/status/1644505566281170944

Kind of a shame how there really won't be any Chicago usage in the evening hours anymore. The studio he uses, the main one, will be pretty much only used for Marni Hughes' News Nation Live , all the other Chicago output comes from the newsroom studio.

The 3 looks horrendous IMO - inconsistent with both the main CBS brand and the legacy Westinghouse brand (anklepants). We'll see how it'll be seen on screen...

It looks like KYW will get the KDKA treatment... Many station promos have already this endcap with Eagles-themed coloring:

As it is seen, they might get the new graphics, but recolored (like KDKA). We will see what it happens.

Flipped through the CBS3 Creative Vimeo page just now. Some interesting blips with arrows and pill patterns:

Looks more suited to ITVX than a local US station to me Big Grin

Moving away from CBS for a moment... WVLA/WGMB, the Baton Rouge NBC/Fox duopoly by Nexstar, debuted a new set yesterday, as Nexstar's vote of confidence in the region:

It is real: KYW is getting the KDKA treatment for the new O&O graphics, which debut today. A TVNewsTalk.net insider, Brandon Giesing, who contributes to the forum, gave a preview of their adaptation from a rehearsal of a 11pm newscast. No new weather graphics for now. All pictures courtesy of the user.

RE: American News Presentation - sky303 - 12-04-2023

Interesting, I thought they were going to keep it with just the 3, having two CBS Eyes is kind of redundant (cough WFOR, KTVT) . I like the coloring, it's nice to see green used as a news color, KCPQ before FOX came on in used it well. WDKY looks nice with green. It's a nice move away from blue, especially in Philly where every station uses blue for news.
