Some more local news: KAUZ in Wichita Falls (CBS, The CW/shared ownership between American Spirit & Gray) debuted the new Gray graphics package last week.

Meanwhile, WAAY (ABC/Allen Media) in Huntsville has a new studio and graphics as well, which was teased quite heavily before the change:

This is not the new Gray graphics (from Matt Quinn/WANF) I'm afraid. This is actually the "honeycomb" package made by the KOLN/KGIN design hub.

Too low budget. Other Allen Media stations do have much better packages. For example, the former DuJuan McCoy stations have a Matt Quinn package (originally designed for KPTV before the Meredith stations went corporate). The former Quincy stations have a decent package (although not as nice as other groups). And even KITV retains the Lilly-era graphics and Heartland Media (which was a much smaller group) had stations with very good graphics. There have been rumblings that this package might be an Allen-wide graphics package, hoping not...

New Carlson show coming from Twitter, of all places:
Quote:Conservative commentator and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson is launching a new version of his show on Twitter, he said Tuesday.

Speaking in a nearly three-minute video posted on the platform, Carlson gave few details about the show and offered a familiar criticism of the news media.

And now the new set is done:

An update: The renovation was done back in mid-February.

A minor update on the rollout of Gray's new local TV graphics: WGEM-TV in Qunicy, Illinois (NBC) has updated their weather graphics with a flatter symbol.

On small branding updates, WBRE/WYOU, Nexstar's duopoly in Northeastern Pennsylvania (NBC, CBS) had a new symbol modelling after their Eyewitness News brand (the WBRE one seemingly has the updated Peacock as well). The main graphics remains the same but not for the mic tags.

Before, an overarching Eyewitness News:

Major Prime Time changes to be announced at Fox News soon by the sounds of it with Hannity moving to 8pm and Jessie Watters and Greg Gutfeld moving to more prime time slots.

I am surprised they never moved Hannity to 8pm when O'Reilly was booted out the door in 2017.

RE: American News Presentation - sky303 - 18-05-2023

News Nation added a new quirk to their graphics where the logo and programme logo get swapped out for their slogan, it happens once in a while.
