Does Hearst have a deal with CNN for sharing content? I noticed the recently acquired ex Waterman Broadcasting WBBH illustrating Hurricane Hilary storm charts using CNN branded weather graphics.

The forecast itself is still using Waterman style graphics.

That might be from CNN News Source.

I think there's one with CBS Local as well. This is a video from CBS Detroit:

There's an article with the same title on the CBS News website, but it's credited to CBS Texas instead, while the text marked (CNN):

Most major station groups in the U.S. are CNN affiliates. NBC O&O, FOX O&O, Nexstar, and Tegna are the big ones who aren't.

WFSB's new set is done, and they've updated to the GrayOne package at the same time:

WTNH, the Nexstar ABC affiliate in the New Haven-Hartford, CT market relaunched their lifestyle slot at 10am as Connecticut's Morning Buzz on Monday 21st August.

Now while it's common to have the final hour of news branded shows (especially on FOX or CW locals) with a showbiz, lifestyle skew on local US stations, this was one of the more stranger concepts.

The first 30 mins was hard news, with a fluffier opening sequence, which could have been branded using the existing news brand, the transition started at 10.30 with the anchors moving from the studio desk to the couch for a chat with the meteorologist, then they did sports and then straight into the fluffier end of the bulletin. By 10.50 they were in the kitchen set area doing a cookery slot.

Apologies for no pics or a video, I've had issues with the editing software today.

Cox has launched hyper-local streaming channels for 2 sections of the Atlanta metro and one so far in the Charlotte NC. Metro. They carry the NeighbourhoodTV branding. They seem to be just local area happenings. They dont seem to be news persay from what I can tell. From the few minutes I watched its not based in studio and its completely JUKEBOXED. So seemingly nothing live. I would imagine because COX has 2 great affiliates already in the metro areas they operate. WSB 2-ATLANTA which is the 100lb gorilla of Atlanta News and then you have WSOC 9-CHARLOTTE which is the lead station. So you'd imagine they dont want to stray too far into that territory.

Pretty big plans to expand it though.
Axios also reported that Cox Media Group plans to expand the network to 50 “zones” in the next three years. It’s now in 100 neighborhoods, with 70 in Georgia and 30 in North Carolina.

Promo for KMAX's Primetime Sacramento has started, with a new symbol that aligns more to that of WUPA/WKBD, instead of the current boxed look:

Staying with CBS, WNCN in Raleigh (Nexstar) is launching a 7pm newscast, going head to head against WRAL:
