One thing that does intrigue me about DTTAH was that when it launched in May 1998 it was hosted by both Davina McCall and Darren Day, who seemed to have been chosen on the basis that it was intended as a more "extreme" replacement for You Bet! (ITV Nightscreen stating "You Bet died for this") and so they kept him on after doing the last few series.

Certainly the time it ended in 2001 it was Davina flying solo, which makes me wonder if they only brought in Darren Day to establish a link to You Bet! which it was replacing.

Indeed he was - I remember Paul from a late night mini quiz on ITV called “Stash”… big money prizes - filmed in a shopping centre he offers £5 for a correct question and I think the contestant faces off with another and has to “pass the stash” if they lose

Mentioned last time Paul Hendy's run was on... I think it acutally wasn't that bad. Purple set was a culture shock to before but a bit more modern, less shiny and worked well on daytime for me, and could have went on.

Has any promos for Cash in the Attic aired on the channel?
