AIUI the only regions that are producing their news in HD are South, London, North West and South West. No one else has been upgraded yet

Some of the regional current affairs programmes have been made in HD for a long while but only broadcast in HD when they appear on BBC1 HD.... but they're made largely in seperate facilities - they have their own edit system. Those programmes now axed of course

Some regions also have HD down the line cameras for years, with special ways to bypass routers or encode to send down SD lines

BBC One East HD has been added with the label 10373, along with BBC4/Cbeebies and ... BBC Two?

Bbc Scotland hd, bbc two hd and bbc four hd seem to be there too on 10818 v 23000

BBC One East and East Midlands HD have been added to the Freesat Test EPG.

I guess it makes sense to spread out all non-BBC1 services as much as possible across all transponders, to help the statmuxing along. Hence why BBC 2 and Scotland also appeared on 10818.

When BBC One moves regional news to HD will the ITV regions also update to the local HD version?

Nothing official from ITV yet, but ITV and Channel 4 will benefit from being able to have the local sub-opt or advertising region on PSB3.

BBC One East HD and BBC One East Midlands HD will be launched on Sky from Wednesday the 1st of February.

So I am guessing the launch on Freesat is the day before it on the 31st of January.

That means 10788 V probably is the next to be cleared.

BBC1 East and East Midlands HD launch on 10818.
According to the data that was added to the Freesat Test EPG earlier and then deleted again, BBC 1 West Midlands HD will go on 11023 and BBC1 Yorkshire and Lincolnshire HD will go on 10847, the exisiting two DVB-S2 transponders.
BBC Paliament can go to the nightlight, until it launches in HD, and BBC One Wales and Two Wales already exist in HD.
The radios also already exist on the nightlight for the time being.

Yes, Freesat launches first on Tuesdays, then SkyQ/HD on Wednesdays.
