I'm sure I read a piece online that said 'by April 2023'?

End of April 2023 is the plan as far as the BBC is concerned

That's only for the five macro-regions initially on DTT. I don't know what the timescale is for the full regionalisation of that Mux.

I've heard April. The gap between going to 5 and then all regions won't be very long I believe

Tunbridge Wells provided a pan-regional bulletin on BBC One London HD during Breakfast. The upscale on the tight head shot camera looked well, but the wide shot showed just how bad upscaling can be.

I have to say it is quite noticeable when Look East switches into circuit during the BBC News at Six. Those technical upgrades can't be completed soon enough.

I think he meant "Weather on North West is SD at the weekend too." Not sure where Jim got "birth" from North, but autocorrect is a funny thing sometimes.

I think we'll probably be seeing a lot of scraps of "SD" elements until we eventually do get a proper fully standardised HD BBC One.

North West weather at the weekend comes from Nottingham which is still SD.

BBC London used a SD sourced graphic earlier.
