Seems like Sky have recently added Lionsgate+ to their streaming platforms Sky Q and Sky Glass/Stream.

Viaplay next presumably?

Is lionsgate+ worth the £6 price in terms of titles it has on show?

Seems to have been kept quiet but ITV2/3/4 HD will go FTA tomorrow and launch on U.K. EPG.

Free to air is the good one isn’t it? As in no encryption required and presumably means it’s likely to come to Freesat.

You are right. I searched earlier to check I was getting the two the right away around, and still got it wrong!

Hopefully then, yes, they will be available on Freesat - or at least, as an added channel.

Sets a massive precedent for other broadcasters to follow suit further down the line. Pleasant news for anyone with Sky, hopefully some day Freeview and Freesat will get the same treatment with an FTA HD version of ITV2/3/4

RE: Sky Platform News - CCFG - 31-10-2022

Quick question, does that mean the channels will be accessable on Freesat via non-Freesat mode?

Yes. Hopefully it'll only be a temporary solution for those with Freesat receivers.
