An island with 1.25 million people on it need 17 channels from their main broadcaster? Are they the only channels available there? Interesting that they are all numbered rather than mention what types of programming is on each one.

The one thing I know about the place from Mauritians I've known in the UK is that it is very diverse in terms of languages and ethnicities. So I wouldn't be surprised if a number of channels are related to that. Still, 17 is quite a lot!

Looking at the list of channels on Wikipedia, looks like they're the only broadcaster in the country, alongside receiving Indian DD channels and other IPTV channels.

I'm surprised it's taken Warners this long to launch Cartoonito in France. I'm sure that when it first started here, it was planned to be bilingual, in English and French (the idea being, of course, it would teach its viewers French). I don't know if that version of Cartoonito ever did go on air - but if it, it can't have lasted long.

Moving to Japan, RKK, the JNN affiliate in Kumamoto, updated their wordmark and brand colour for their 70th anniversary:

They do have a branding guideline site available, that includes the font used in their current image:
https://tv2marketing.dk/design/tv-2-brand/

I'd suggest keeping an eye on it once the new identity is out Big Grin

Still the old branding information on that site. I've managed to find the new TV2 font but only at Regular weight. Wish they'd hurry up!  Big Grin

BBC Nordic will launch on 17th April, On the YouTube channel they have given us teasers for shows and the presentation isn’t in the BBC chameleon style.

Fun fact, and I checked - the new TV2 font is one of those new-fangled "Variable" fonts, where all the weights and italics are in one file

RE: International Presentation - rick - 05-04-2023

Ah, thanks for that. Most programs I've tried using it in only seem to recognise Regular. Wonder if there's a way to extract the different weights as separate files so they can be installed independently?
