Test broadcast ident (2008): Thank God they didn't use that for long! Not shown here was their working name - "TVB Jade 2".

Ident/Sting (2008): One of their celebrity stings with a Taiwanese TV drama star. They ran a campaign to invite audience to submit their own versions of the ident online too.

Continuity (2010): J2 in the 2010s was famous for not using idents - just a caption and straight into the show. This was shown before Japanese anime Sailor Moon.

Continuity (2012): Identity updated with a new orange and blue colour scheme.

Initial graphics package (2016): This video, seemingly from the design house, shows the station graphics with a slightly different ident soundtrack. This was the time when lottery and racing awkwardly appeared on the channel, following ATV's demise.

And The current ident (2022): I've talked about it back on TVLF (https://tvliveforum.com/showthread.php?tid=12&pid=86788#pid86788 ). They tried to establish themselves like an independent brand, but failed. This was also the time when the channel's jewel of the crown - Japanese anime and Korean variety shows - started to disappear from the station lineup.

Then we've come to the crisis stage: I’d argue they found their niche in financial programming, but the identity is just a mess.
J5 (2016-17!): They tried to follow J2's formula - building the J prefix as a younger brand, but financial analysis and documentaries never appealed to young adults. IMO the brand was also tarnished among the politically-local crowds, after their Putonghua news were panned for using Simplified Chinese subtitles. The quick change of graphics a few months later proved their uncertainty.

TVB Finance Channel (2017-18): Perhaps the clearest one they made in the channel’s later history. They oriented themselves with the freshly-rebranded TVB News Channel and positioned themselves as ‘the only 24-hour free financial channel’. But…
TVB Finance and Information Channel (2018-22): … adding ‘Information’ is like gilding the lily: Reverting back to a J5-era lineup, just under a different name. The two used the same graphics package - this was the later version.

TVB FSI Channel (2022-24): The current name is just convoluted and stupid. Aside from racing, sport wasn’t an option for cost-cutting TVB to go into - international rights often go into Now/ViuTV’s hands. I suspect the in-house advertising people also got the point - their pre-launch slogan emphasized its information aspect while sport was the newcomer.

I’m currently in Pune, India on a work trip and I’m sat here watching the NFL on Star Sports Select 2 and Star Sports literally include every US ad going.
So far there’s been ad inserts for State Farm insurance, a promo for The Masked Singer on FOX and smattering of others.
They don’t even try and cut away from them and insert their own ads.

NHK BS8K is still on the air for now.

Also VRT1 has added some new idents to the set whilst still using the ones made by Gedeon. These new additions are made by a local CG animation company called haste.
