That’ll be almost a year after it was announced.

I still don’t think it will happen.

I suspect GB News will have its biggest viewing figures ever tonight:

The media commentators and critics will be conflicted here. They’ve spent the past year trying to run down the channel as only watched by a very small number of individuals who they describe in negative terms. Now they’ll suddenly be tuning in.

Eamonn's story is already coming undone and is being called out - one minute claiming he's going to tell all but then insisting he actually knew nothing.

Well look, we'll find out the full story (or his version of it, anyway) tonight. I get the sense you have already decided he is lying because he presents on GB News, a channel you don't like. I get it, I don't much like the channel either. But I don't think tarring everyone with the same brush is the right approach. It's the sort of thing some of that channel's louder rabble-rousers would do.

I won’t be watching.

RE: GB News - Milkshake - 29-05-2023

I like to hear all said, but it would seem GB news is going after the ITV management, not Phillip. It not clear how much that has clouded Dan this topic. The Management is were it heading.

I was rather surprised to found the channel has Weather and News update at the top of the hours.

The news updates were imposed on them by Ofcom, initially they didn't have them.  The news updates are there to let them fulfil their obligations to Ofcom

That’s because they’ve already ‘got’ Phillip - he won’t work in TV for a considerable amount of time if ever again what ever comes out

So as many multiple levels of ITV management as possible, other presenters and the show itself are now targets to be cancelled instead

That’s not quite true. Ofcom doesn’t care if they do proper news or not, there’s a suggestion they added them to fulfil their obligation to balance by having news reporting that is politically neutral.
