Barbara Walters was a trailblazer in the true sense. What she managed to do for women in news broadcasting, forging ahead back in the day, was nothing short of revolutionary. And not only making space and forging a path for other women, but she was genuinely excellent at what she did. And a journalistic genius.

RIP, Barbara.
