Pixar/Disney movies on free to air - shropshireguy28 - 31-12-2022

Do the BBC still have a deal with newer Pixar movies, for example do we expect Lightyear, to premier on BBC 1 in a few years time

Depends what the contents of the deal was if it predates Disney+ as those things tend to be multi-year (and its why a lot of content that ideally should be on Disney+ is still all over the place)

Hopefully the free to air deal stays with the BBC for the Pixar and live action films of Disney. I don't agree that people should have to pay for something on streaming and not get it on free to air TV in movie terms. I do think streaming is pay per view and has replaced sky so hopefully free to air won't change.
