Just seeing the Jackson kids should be enough to make him not want to move onto that close (though admittedly they were long gone by the time David Crosbie turned up, I think Barry Grant was the only 1984 resident still there by then... plus Terry, but he wasn't living on the close at this point even though he's there all the time).

Flashback sequence in the first of today's episodes. I wonder if that was the first flashback sequence on a UK soap?

Brookside went big on flashbacks in the last few years it was on air.

There had been a brief flashback in an earlier episode, Petra remembering her smashing the glass door (the last time she saw Gavin alive).

Yes I noticed that. I wonder if that's what's caused other episodes to have their rolling credits replaced with a slideshow, it does make them unreadable.

Interesting that I've never seen anything occur like that during the actual body of any episode though, but it may well have affected the credits of several episodes.

I thought with Sharon Watts' blink and you miss it cameo last week that she'd brought Roly the dog with her for a bit of company. Turns out it's just our Michelle back from that London.
