I believe TVam were involved in one of the, unsuccessful, bids for the itv and c4 teletext franchise, which teletext UK won.

I think that Gyngell was planning to have TVAM take on ITN for the national news licence.

Let's get back on tangent about the 1990 Thames logo. Had Thames retained its franchise beyond 1993, and then launched the London weekday ancilliary text service (the 600s magazines), I wonder how the logo would've looked as a teletext recreation!

Probably a yellow pixellated skyline with the text underneath. The triangle would've been ignored - it would've ended up looking like an upside down staircase and they would've needed the space for a menu anyway.
