This is wonderful! In 2000 I was lucky enough to see it inflated on my (then) school field and take off!

One of the wonderful things about the Balloon was that it was, originally, designed for exactly this thing. During the initial design phase, one of the ideas was that the balloon would be used at major sporting events etc to fly over, creating a link between the design element and actual events (bringing the brand to life, long before that was the 'phrase du jour'.

First, good news regarding the Balloon.

Second, a random question if one may. How long given the right circumstances can a balloon be kept for without use? I thought with the passage of time the fabrics or whatever they used would have degraded by now and to have it take flight again there would have to be a new copy done.
