Long-gone? Scrambled! is very recent though

It feels strange seeing nostalgia for Scrambled! already, but I suppose it’s almost a decade old now!

RE: CITV is to close - Milkshake - 28-08-2023

As expected, Its not a complete shock. It happened with Newsround.  ITV Accounts saw the figures and the channel will get the chop. I expect other channels to go the same way like ITVBe, five Star etc etc etc at some point HOWEVER, as PBS they should still have place on liner channel for people  who cant benefit fully from having access to streaming services. I know there a few who disagree with that statement, and don't believe some people don't have access. At the end of the day PBS channel should have basic level of service even while ALL the liner channel get scaled back to Pre digital era.

''That’s such a shame! R.I.P CITV!''
''NO! Not CITV! I used to watch Scrambled every Saturday + Sunday!'

''Never watched it so won’t miss it - Love Mr Bean non animated tho''
''I haven't ever watched citv so this doesn't really effect me much.''

Whereas for people of my generation next week is 25 years since SM:TV began....

and 30 years since Live & Kicking...

Even the Ministry of Mayhem will be 20 in January.

I assume you weren’t born in 2001 then!

I've had far too many people patronisingly make that assumption (particularly a few years back when they thought I was under 18). Even on Digitalspy where my account actually says I joined in 2000 which would make my being born in 2001 an impossibility!

I liked the way the name sounded back then (especially as 2001 hadn't happened), and I've just stuck with it.

Yepp. Years ago, in fact.

It’s actually on every day for 4 hours a day. Check the TV guide for the week commencing Monday 4th September, and you’ll see the block is still on Weekdays as well as Weekends.

RE: CITV is to close - CCFG - 29-08-2023

ITVX's TV guide seems completely broken from the 2nd September, most likely to do with the imminent removal of CITV from it. https://www.itv.com/watch/tv-guide/2023-09-02

CITV's final programme ('The Rubbish World of Dave Spud' at 20:45) says it runs from 20:45 to 06:00.
