As I said I think there is a way to combine the blocks and bugs. Blocks when they are still, bug shape when they move.

TBBC = BBC Switch?

After watching the logos through the years video, one thing that is missing from the new CBBC idents is a signature tune, something that the last set did very well; some idents have accompanying music but I can’t spot anything that links them together, it’s more like they’ve been designed to be talked over by a CA. On a related note the video reminded me of how strong the audio package to the 2007 idents was, it definitely put the life back into the brand that went a missing between 2005 & 2007.

As expected, CBeebies didn't have a "live" screenbug during Blue Peter.

That was a cringe name. Just BBC would have sufficed for that audience, something that online will fit perfectly.

Looks like from this image from CBeebies on social media, there's a new logo for CBeebies Bedtime Stories, which might show tonight, being there's a new episode of that programme for Red Nose Day.

Just noticed that the CBeebies website's icon has changed.

If I'm wrong, correct me on this, but I believe that the original CBeebies Bedtime Stories logo had been used until this rebrand (I wouldn't know when Bedtime Stories debuted, my best guess would be 2007?)

I don't mind the name BBC Switch.  I get it and works for me.  Just need investment and more collaboration with CBBC.  Would work well in this day and age.

Bedtime Stories was also around long before 2007, just wasn't on the schedule.
Also they used a generic Bedtime Hour ident for Bedtime Stories' intro/outro prior to the 2010's I believe. Here's what it looked like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLTh6OK7zmw

Worth noting that Phoenix Rise, a new school drama (so obviously dubbed the new Grange Hill) is produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions but is airing on BBC3 rather than CBBC, although it seems it was initially commissioned for the iPlayer rather than CBBC.
