https://www.bbc.com/mediacentre/mediapacks/phoenix-rise  - Phoenix Rise is available on BBC iPlayer from Tuesday 21 March and is on at 7pm, Friday 24 March on BBC Three

Just been taking a look on TV Home and noticed there’s a specific BBC Bitesize Ident and even the DOG changes to that logo:

Tut tut tut, old BBC logo but new BBC logo in the DOG.   Tongue

Ah well, not everything's fully rebranded at the BBC yet.

It’s the last Saturday Mash-Up of the series, and like they always seem to do it’s a pre recorded best bits programme. For those unaware during programmes the usual Live CBBC dog is replaced by a flipping one that changes from the CBBC logo (of old) to the Saturday Mash-Up one. As this edition is pre recorded they’re using the animated one throughout meaning the old CBBC logo is back.

It’s nice to see that they’re still following the structure of finishing around Easter (ala Live & Kicking, Dick & Dom in da bungalow, etc.), but unlike Saturdays of the past there is no summer replacement.

I don't mind the name BBC Switch.  I get it and works for me.  Just need investment and more collaboration with CBBC.  Would work well in this day and age.

were it to get investment, BBC Lit would be a better name these days.

The old Saturday morning shows would still have about another month to run, wouldn't they?

“BBC Lit” would be an easy way to turn off any youth viewers, the term is pretty dated already!

Will it ever be?!

The NBH logo doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s to-do list either!
