Pretty sure CBeebies doesn't plonk a subtitles tag at the start of its programming either, though can't be sure if this is promoted in other ways.

Exactly, it doesn’t need to be there any more if subtitles are already the default, in my view.

It’s just clutter on screen.
It’s a view clearly shared by various other broadcasters including Channel 4. But the BBC and ITV seem to want to keep in line with Ofcom best practice.

It's interesting that the CBeebies logo on its webpage just has it the letters typed out rather than at jaunty angles like it appears on screen and iPlayer. I wonder if the 'jaunty angles' version was a late change to make the logo a bit more interesting and they've not updated the webpage.

Still plenty of CBeebies House and old CBeebies logo on in-vision continuity this morning.

There will be for a long while, the links and other elements are repeated a lot. The bedtime and lunchtime stories in particular are repeated for years

If an old logo is visible on IVC, shouldn't they just re-record it?

Wanted to mention that last night they repeated some Bedtime links, specifically ones I remember seeing on October 9, 2022. They repeat Bedtimes pretty often as well.

Randomly just found out that the closedown boards for both channels after 7pm on BBC iPlayer are now animated, that's kinda cool

I'm more surprised that the 12-16 slots of BBC Three aren't so much branded as such (nor are they really presented as the zone for that audience, with little bits of "The Next Step" here and there, plus a new show that's produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family but shifted to BBC Three instead of CBBC).

There could be an argument that should the closure of CBBC go ahead that BBC3 should go 24/7 with a CBBC slot within the day (but not all day) and a teen slot in the early evening, but I guess with BBC4 in the firing line the plan is to lose one stream and have CBeebies and BBC3 share one stream.
