Looks like it’s airing on CBBC - a double bill is scheduled for 3rd May at 5.55pm.

I found this case study of the new CBBC idents, which were made by Rich Hallsworth and Ink & Giants. It shows 2 of the new idents, which are the tube man and music idents, and a sting. Plus I have this GIF from the case study, in which somewhere in that GIF, you may find a Christmas ident.

I can take a guess and say the Christmas one is the one where the tubey things form star shapes?

I found another case study of the CBBC rebrand, this time by Twin Associates. This time, it’s a video that not only shows the elements of the rebrand, but also shows the development behind the idents.

So we have a name for those things, the Flooms.
Also I wonder who worked on the CBeebies rebrand?

I swear I have no recollection of this Children's BBC ident from 1985...

That because it wasn't used? please not that website is great is bad at is labelling, and this certain piece really should say

"Sting" instead of "IDENT"

or in this case, "TEST or unused piece of pres"

This is an oddity as well. The Live and Kicking theme but with lots of different elements, especially the end...

At the end of this year's BBC Children's Briefing, there was mention of the new CBBC and CBeebies branding, and 2 VTs were shown, which each have a branding reel.
See it being talked about at 1:49:10 in the video linked on the BBC Commissioning site
https://www.bbc.co.uk/commissioning/childrens/how-we-work/#watcharecordingofourlastestbriefingday
or on the BBC Commissioning clips page
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0flby2g
or even at the end of the PowerPoint that was shown during the briefing.

Quite like this graphic of the layers to the rebrand: https://i.imgur.com/ruJ6BN0.png

Suggests the CBBC and CBeebies logos were done last of all then.
