RE: Talk TV - Jon - 25-10-2022

I saw some of it and it was actually quite entertaining in parts. I think it’s not that most of output isn’t engaging but it clearly hasn’t managed to capture an audience in the same way GB News has.

For one thing the Morgan studio makes it seem over polished, I think there is a happy medium between the look of GB News and that of Talk TV.

Not sure what they can do with Morgan but I think they might as well use go to a radio style schedule but presented as TV with like they’re doing with Feltz in a proper studio. It would keep costs down by essentially just making the TV channel an extra platform by which it’s radio station is accessed.

It's up there with Mick Fleetwood and Sam Fox presenting The Brits.

Unfortunately no one cares Erron!
Surprised he's still wasting his talents with Piers. Wonder if he's regretting that career move 6 months in

Hadn’t he agreed a move to Sky News as Director of output before Piers came calling?

It was as head of the directors (the exact title escape me). Director of Output is an editorial position.

'Head of Studio Output' is the exact title, apparently.

Unbelievably Sky News Australia are showing the Dorries/Sheffield editions of Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Although, I’m sure he’s not bothered because whilst I’m sure he’d like larger audience he’s probably getting paid more where he is. Of course how long Talk TV is another question.
