Expect a lot of simulcasting with Fox News - they did it with the queen's funeral, and will no doubt follow the same plan for the coronation

So the 'TV' is missing, making it simply 'Talk'...

I don't know anything about this sort of thing, but surely you can't trademark a word as commonplace as 'Talk'?

I look forward to being educated by those more knowledgeable - won't be hard to know more than me about this sort of thing!

The Talk logo in the new application is figurative, so applies to that design not the word 'talk'

You are right in thinking you can't easily TM the generic word 'talk'

Many reasons to trademark the graphic illustration, not least in that it offers protection from clones/mocks and how the material is distributed. So for example a tiktok mash up of a Talk TV clip might get a fair use exemption for a clip of a Piers rant,  but won't necessarily get around the use of the Talk TV graphics - leaving legal routes for takedown notices.

Shame they're sticking with the rubbish logo. Good graphic design should look great flat and static and then animated/treated.  This only just about works on screen, even then its unbalanced and ugly

Since the studio move, Vanessa's been throwing to ad breaks by saying "you're with Talk, on TV, on radio and online".

Don't know why they didn't call it Talk UK, a nod to the past and better than Talk TV when large parts of the audience are on the radio.

I suppose it was felt to be too similar to GB News.
