It's interesting E4 Extra still heavily promotes the BOX channels (though rarely 4Music) rather than C4/E4 content from what I've seen, even though much of their audience won't receive them. They are online but I think the smart TV app is long gone as is their availability on Freeview via the red button.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the BOX channels, are they also available on Freesat?

Sounds like they've introduced pre-recorded Bespoke (that's actually written for what's in the schedule) continuity to the channel now (although not 'live') rather than the super generic ones.

4creative has posted a showreel of the new Channel 4 look, including a few new things we haven't seen yet, such as the ECP and going "outside the box" so to speak.

This is way better than what we have seen already, as C4 is currently just a mish-mash of 2015 meets now and I'm glad to at least get the full vision of this rebrand. Hopefully the "Giant" will be replaced by... purple bubbles, spacemen planting an "alien" flag, etc.

It looks fantastic when you see how it all comes together in one package, which makes the decision to unveil part of it and not the menus, ECPs and full ident set even more baffling.

The "different worlds" idents sound really interesting. Just weird they aren't unveiling them in spring as planned as it's nearly Summer soon.

I do like the little reference to the first words ever said on Channel 4 midway through that showreel.

It does look quite promising with the versatility of the rebrand. As mentioned it does seem very odd their approach in just releasing the idents many months ago which in my view were the weakest aspect of this rebrand. However there are still a few unknowns in terms of how far this cohesion is going to spread to the other Channel 4 channels.
