A Paralympics ident for next year's Paris Games would be cool. It could be either people (including Paralympians) trying out various sports in Parisian locations and various venues for the Games. Or if they wanted to go international, it could be the same concept but in previous/future Paralympic host cities.

There is a Paralympics graphic in this earlier 4 Creative preview, but then the idents themselves turned out to be a different concept.

Now we have the idents, the brand video really does seem to be quite mysterious at times. Not sure where or if a lot of it will come into play, maybe some of it is to do with the sister channels like mentioned previously - but it’s a little bit odd.

We’ve definitely not seen things like the type animations and show title variants yet on screen, and the F1 graphic is completely different to the one we have currently. Perhaps a lot of it has been conceptual, scrapped, streamlined - or there’s a lot more to come.

Either way, a little bit confusing. The idents and the rest of the graphics feel a tad like they’re two different concepts that are along the same lines instead of one big picture - but that’s not a bad thing either.

That's pretty much what they've had since 2015 with a different look for the presentation to most of the idents - but then a few idents in the presentation style too.

I quite liked the idea of the 4 logo moving through spaces which weren't just a green cube. Hopefully that simpler concept is something they could use to refresh 4Seven which now has idents based on C4 concept from 3 ident sets ago.

P.S. I get the "Elephant in the room" ident not fitting the concept but not so much this Danurl Eatock "hot earth" one. Just a reference to climate change or a nod to the BBC globe?

I like to think that these 'ident's were to throw everybody off the scent and surprise us all with what they launched yesterday.
