Not wishing to get into the realms of fantasy presentation, but like you, I'm surprised the 4creative work is notably absent except for a vague hint of it in the motor racing and Pride idents.

However, it could form the basis for a cohesive set of idents across the family of channels with sets of channel-themed scenes.

I’m surprised the idents don’t end as the film did with the 4 in the cube “room”.

As it stands now, the idents feel separate from the rest of the overall presentation.

Possibly the most frustrating part of the new idents. I love going from scene to scene but there was an opportunity here to create some standalone ones of slower versions of the scenes with more going on.

It would be nice if the 25 “mini-idents” were able to be mixed and matched at free will, make it more random. Saying that, the Giant 4 was getting long in the tooth so any change is welcome.

Now that the main channel has had a lick of paint… when will the digital channels get their new look? I guess Channel 4 are planning to let this bed in for a bit before starting phase two.

Well C4 just clearly played a continuity announcement intended for later in the week into Hollyoaks, somewhat spoiling the main story for the week.

Idents still look great though.
