Noticed continuity across the network getting a bit more specific to the programme they're introducing after a tendency to just be promoting (the service previously known as) All4 content in recent months.

A few months on and the idents are just getting better with every view IMO - just look great.

Presentation though isn't quite living up to the previews - we don't really see the logo travelling through various scenes as was initially teased and most uses are just a quick form up of the logo then big blocks of colour on screen or the logo already formed. Feel they could be doing much more with it to be visually interesting.

That said the concept is adapted nicely for The Great British Bake Off endboard, so may see a cube based ident for that.

Pentagram's got an example - the Derry Girls on their C4 project page

I still find the main colour choice of luminescent green for the 4 logo baffling. It seems to clash with every background they put it on.

I do think this was a late change given how the earlier ident had the logo in white. I can imagine an executive insisting that they have a distinctive colour.

seems to be some of the sub-brands that appeared initially on the promo video are launching as FAST channels in the US. Maybe we'll see some FAST channels on 4oD/All4/C4 Online?

C4 is so poor for streaming additional channels - they really should start with the BOX channels (4Music certainly should have been added when removed from Freeview) and ensure their additional sport content is streamed within their own platform too.

I'm surprised that the Box channels continue. Don't their licenses to use the Kiss, Kerrang and Magic brands expire imminently?

The licence agreement started in January 2019. If the agreement was 5 years then we could see changes around December. It will be interesting to see if they pick 4Music or The Box to be the master brand that takes over.

I'm guessing the BOX network still brings in an income as surely otherwise they'd have tried to offload it.

Silly question but which way round would the money be going to use the Bauer brands - BOX paying a fee to use their brands or Bauer paying to have their brands attached to the channels?
