One thing I have noticed with the BT to EE transition. Their general usage pay as you go wifi network has been updated to be now "EE WiFi" instead of "BT WiFi".

My BT TV Pro box (which I purchased outright from a pawnbroker) now glows an annoying intense cyan rather than the pleasant purple it previously did. It clashes rather badly with the general lighting hues I normally go for so will need to find some way of addressing that.

I don’t think you can actually do anything about it, except possibly cover up the light ,which may annoying in itself as you wouldn’t be able to tell so easily when the box was on or not).

BT seem to have pushed the EE rebrand software to all recent devices, as a sort of remotely-triggered rebrand, so now your box’s software has updated itself, you won’t be able to revert it.

Ok I have told BT to stop with the marketing text messages. Two within 48 hours is enough for me! I guess they are keen to get people onto EE.
