The BBC Two continuity announcer even explained that they were going to show live tennis and the highlights would be on after Newsnight but it turns out she was wrong.

Is the tennis game that was on BBC One still going on?

Yes, still going, just going into a deciding third set.

The EPG is very confused, looks like there were three different plans including keeping it on BBC One and showing a filler programme.

The BBC Two Wales and BBC Two Northern Ireland guys also introduced live tennis with a mention of the highlights being shown after Newsnight so it seems the only thing that wasn't expecting it was the playout system.

I wonder if Today at Wimbledon is delivered as a programme in the play out system or it’s just seen as a live broadcast from the Wimbledon OB, and they play it out

Last night's edition was being edited as it was broadcast on the Red Button channel, as they included the result of a match that finished while they were on air. I'm assuming therefore that Today at Wimbledon is played out as live from source, so someone at Wimbledon put it to air on the wrong feed going out.

The Red Button feed also went to Today at Wimbledon at just after 9pm following all outdoor courts being suspended. So currently, BBC Two and the Red Button are showing Today at Wimbledon, but play is continuing on Centre Court live online only.

That's planned.

Bit of a graphics cock-up late last night, with the use of 'Czechoslovakian' - a country that ceased to exist in 1992

The country is called Czechia nowadays. Could've understood if they called her a Czechian, but yeah, calling someone from Czechia Czechoslovakian is like calling a Russian a Soviet. It shouldn't happen.

Broady-Rudd going to 5 sets gives BBC1 a primetime outing for Murray-Tsitsipas tonight. Think we can already put Today at Wimbledon after Newsnight - although Today at the Test is scheduled then which I suspect will take priority.
