The BBC's opening titles got a shout out on Channel 4's 'The Last Leg' this evening (07/07/23), notably for featuring wheelchair tennis players on the titles.

It's not new, and the BBC do not produce the match graphics.

It probably explains why the "Game, Set and Facts" feel like they appear far more than they need too. IMO they should be left for in between games during a change of ends, not appearing during points within the match.

And her ‘plus one’ seemed to be Lorraine’s Ross King

Late to this, but if it helps, the BBC stopped being the host broadcaster [and thus the producer of the world feed] in 2018. They're now just a consumer for the UK audiences only, however they continue to provide the required technical expertise, camera-people and commentators for the world feed thats now produced in-house by Wimbledon Broadcasting Services [ie by Wimbledon itself].

This continued close association is basically why the scoreboard graphic during games has only had a reskin/font change to fit the standard colours of the tournament (white, blue and green), and why sponsors are advertised more prominently, since its no longer hamstrung by the BBC's "no prominent sponsorships in camera view" requirements.

Even a danger that won't be done by 11pm if it goes to three sets. For whatever reasons matches overall seem to be taking longer now with sets often closer to the 50 minute mark than the 30 minute mark.

The 13.30 start on Centre Court doesn’t help. That should definitely be moved back to 13.00 next year. The experts say the grass is much slower then it used to be, maybe that’s contributing to longer match times.
