Sorry just read the post above again. I’ve deleted my comment.

Straight into Today at Wimbledon after the end of the live tennis.

RE: Wimbledon 2023 - XIII - 10-07-2023

Looks like the Djokovic match is going to start a lot sooner than expected as the previous match has ended early due to one of the players having to retire from play due to an injury.

Another retirement on Court 1 as well so the schedule is moving along quicker then expected today on both main courts.

Whisper it quitely, Today at Wimbledon might air on BBC Two at 9pm as planned...

I understand that the BBC want to push iPlayer and Sounds, but the absence of any mention of the red button feeds on air is odd.

I was watching Dimitrov / Rune on BBC2, they understandably left to take the match on centre, but only mentioned it continued on iPlayer. In reality, for many viewers, the red button stream is the easiest/only way to watch - why not mention it? Especially when pressing red will take you to the old stream or iPlayer, depending on the TV/STB.

In reality, I punched in 601 and continued watching.

Also, I know I’ve mentioned before, but can someone please make this graphic less awful? It’s particularly bad when small, almost illegible.

Great to see that Barry Davies attended today and is still looking well at 88 years old. A Wimbledon and sports broadcasting legend.

Agree, though I think if you're watching on a connected device the press red menu won't  take you to the red button linear feed, but as you say it gets you there one way or another.

Agree that black background on the iPlayer background looks awful - surely the icon is familiar enough now.
