The linear Red Button channel is on BBC iPlayer as "Wimbledon Extra".

Today it seems they have decided to stay with the mixed doubles on that channel with Today at Wimbledon only going out on BBC Two (at 20:00 as scheduled).

Interesting to see two different BBC Sounds logos within a few seconds. Can’t help feel that one works an awful lot better than the other on-screen.

This weekend there will be the option to have BBC Radio 5 Live's commentary on BBC iPlayer as an alternative to the BBC TV commentary for the singles finals.

They are also live on Discovery+ and Eurosport 2 with alternative commentary.

By the looks of it the second semi final will wrap up fairly soon so woder if they'll bother with the BBC1 slot tonight.

You were right with the quick finish to the Men’s Semi-Finals they have ditched the BBC 1 evening slot.

Unless Charlie Dimmock is designing a tennis court, it looks like they have indeed dropped the BBC One block.

Yes the reliable filler Garden Rescue is on again.

The teal slide is exactly what Chameleon was trying to get away from where you have loads of BBC logos on screen. Really they should just be using "5 Live" on it's own along with "Sounds" with icon. I agree the Sounds logo in a black box doesn't look great.

This is a separate point really but do feel one of the issues with the Chameleon icon logos is the lack of a definitive logo. For all of them there are two variations, one with BBC and another with the icon, but there isn't one with both. And as a result a lot of the time you just see the plain old BBC version being used which isn't distinctive in any way.

I know the icon is supposed to be the BBC blocks morphed but by rigidly sticking to this rule you limit its exposure. I really think they need a main version that contains both BBC and the icon.

Wasn't expecting Annabel Croft rather than Clare Balding to be the Sue Barker replacement for the on court ceremony.

For the record, Sam Smith back in the chair as lead commentator for the women's singles final, after Andrew Cotter did it last year (Smith missed a lot of the back half of last year, presumably due to COVID).

Really hope Andrew Cotter gets the men’s final rather than Andrew Castle - but I doubt he will!
