BBC 60th Birthday wishes: 1982-1983 - Milkshake - 26-07-2023

I have looked online and not much comes up expect for Doctor who or Blue peter 60th

Can anyone remember back to 1982 or 1983 to the BBC 60th Birthday or 60 years of Broadcasting.

Many TV companies around the world sent the  Special video birthday Greetings.

Can anyone remember who and how many TV companies did send in greetings?

I was 3 at the time, so I don't remember it but there's a compilation of some of the special continuity here, I don't know if the greetings you are looking for are in it - how were they broadcast, as part of junctions?

Thanks for that, rather interest clips from its 60th birthday, and alot of interludes. However it doesn't look like the greetings are in there. Yes there were played out as part of the junctions.

Just found it, the BBC Dimond Jubilee was held in February 1983, and it was that week these clips went out.
